Privacy policy
Landscaping Marketplace, part of the NearMe network, collects the personal information it needs to run an Australian landscape supply marketplace and landscaper directory. This page sets out what that actually amounts to.
What we collect
Account: your email address, name, phone number and authentication data. Profile: a username and, for business sellers, a supplied trading name and ABN used for account classification. A public business profile may show seller-controlled contact details, but not the ABN number itself. Landscaping Marketplace does not independently verify ABR ownership at launch. Listings and messages: the parts, doors, services, wanted ads, photos and conversations you post. Technical: the IP address of enquiry submissions, retained for abuse controls and not shown to users.
How we collect and hold it
We collect information when you create or update an account, publish or save a listing, send an enquiry or message, save a project or search, choose a preference, report content, or pay for an optional seller feature. The service also creates the technical and activity records needed to deliver those actions and control abuse. Information is held through the service providers named below.
What it is used for
It is used to publish your ads, put buyers and sellers in touch, keep your saved door projects and searches, send account and activity notifications, take payment for seller plans and boosts, moderate unsafe or misleading listings, and shut down abuse. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
Marketing consent is optional, off by default and separate from service messages, listing enquiries and public phone display. Landscaping Marketplace and the NearMe Ads network market to you only in the channel you picked. We keep a record of every grant and withdrawal. You can withdraw email or SMS marketing consent in Account preferences; an active network suppression always prevents marketing in that channel.
Who processes it
Supabase provides database and authentication services, Stripe processes payments without giving us your card number, Resend sends transactional email, and Vercel hosts the site. These providers process information to provide their contracted services.
These providers are based in the United States, so personal information may be stored or processed outside Australia, principally in the United States.
What other users see
In public you are your username or your business name, and your email address is never shown. A phone number appears on an ad only if you switched it on for that ad. Send an enquiry and the seller gets your display name, your message, and a phone number only where you chose to hand one over.
Access, correction and deletion
You can edit your profile and listings from your account. To access, correct or delete other information, or to close your account, email support@cheaplandscapingnearme.com. Some transaction, consent, moderation or security records may need to be retained where law or legitimate fraud-prevention needs require it; we will explain any limit that applies to your request.
